Diagnosis involves questions about your existing symptoms and past medical history.  Your practitioner will also take your pulse on both wrists and ask to look at your tongue as part of the diagnostic procedure.

The needles are all single-use, disposable and pre-sterilised.  They are very fine and
do  not usually cause any pain, although some patients refer to ‘tingling’ sensations.                          Most people find acupuncture to be a deeply relaxing experience.

Generally, the needles will be left in for approximately 20 minutes, during which                          time you are encouraged to relax whilst the practitioner continues to take your                          pulse and to assess any changes.
